====== Tips for Engraving and Cutting Foamboard ====== ====== Tips for Engraving and Cutting Foamboard ======
 +
+===== General Tips about Foamboard =====
 +
+Expect the board to have a warp in it. If you put it on the table such that the bottom of the warp is in the middle of the board and the top edges are elevated then it is easier to tack down.
 +
+Another technique to deal with large warped sheets is to cut the outer pieces first where it is easier to tack down the board. Then you can use the cut holes to add additional tacks.
 +
+Foam will retract from the cut edges. This is normal.
